mercury in striper?
 
Is it true you should only eat 2 striper a year because of the mercury count? Someone told me this today and I never heard of it in striper.

Hudson river stripers are loaded wit em I rarely eat any that come from under that sewer.Least thats what they claim to keep the comm.. fishery closed.

From what I got from this page any wild striper is a "DO NOT EAT"

Is this just another way for them to try and get you to catch and release? LOL
I just heard this from a guy that works at a water treatment plant.
