Massive meteor at 2am
 

Anyone out last night around 2am see it in the eastern sky? Been seeing a lot of meteors, but this thing was huge. Caught the light out of the corner of eye, turned around and this thing lit up the sky. It was much, much larger and had a longer track then the average meteor. Thought it was lightning at 1st.

I saw the biggest meteor I've ever seen sometime between 2 and 2:30 this morning. This one was almost overhead. Gave off kind of a greenish glow, and lit up the sky. I mistook it for lightning at first, too. Very cool...

Aren't they all overhead?? :huh:

I also caught it out of the corner of my eye.Also saw a good one the previous
night though not as large and bright.
