There are big stripers swimming among the tuna. Dom had 9 tuna using the small 1.5 oz. Po-Jee .He then put on the large Po-Jee ,2.5 oz. and got this 34 lb. striper from the same school the tuna were in! He said there were about 5 stripers the same size following this one to the boat. There must just be a big ol underwater party goin on out there :jump1:

That's awesome....Daily double and bluefish don't even count!

Real nice daily double, Dominic - attaboy! :kewl:

That's it - now Pt. Jude has gone pelagic :humpty:

But then it's also got the HD hardware to stand up to BFT's too.

Good for you, Joe - nice job!

I had a similar experience on Friday, with a 29 pound fish coming out of the middle of a bluefin frenzy. My partner hooked up immediately from the bow, and I had time to come out of the pilothouse had cast a sandeel jig into the frenzy. While his screamed away from the front, mine was much slower and powerful to the bottom. His fish was a nice 20 pound class bluefin, and I got the bonus bass. There were fish all around the striper as it came up the first time, what a show!!
