Sore Arms

Rough day on Buzzards Saturday. I was hoping to get over to the sound for some doormats, but that chop was a bit much. I stayed local and fished Mashnee flats. No doormats ,but some keepers, loads of smalls, and at about 1:00 when i was getting ready to call it a day........BIRDS, BAIT,AND BLUES?....a quik cast of a deadly #^&#^&#^&#^& on my 12lb spinning combo....quik jerky retrieve....and ZING.....screaming drag! nice long run.........fish turns...( I'm thinking this is a big blue )....another run........then another.....my first BONITO!!!!!!!.....only got into 1 as they where gone as quik as they appeared, but I'm certainly going to try and find more.

I was on the southern part of Buzzards Bay yesterday and we saw lots of birds and breaking fish through out the day. We were thinking they were bonito. Paul

I hope you released him on the grill. :bl:

They're almost as tasty as the BFT I think.
