MikeTLive 08-14-2005 10:45 PM

It was supposed to come to my house.
I can be there in about an hour, let me know when I should come get it.

TheSpecialist 08-15-2005 08:03 AM

It's an 87 Kencraft, 18' with a 90 horse Johnson.

Krispy 08-15-2005 08:29 AM

craigslist?

TheSpecialist 08-15-2005 08:53 AM

yup.....

Krispy 08-15-2005 09:23 AM

can I have the dinghy? :D

TheSpecialist 08-15-2005 04:20 PM

I told him to keep it, it had 3 gunshot holes in the bottom, and a torn keel. I guess some kids took a bunch of them and sunk em.

Striper1 08-15-2005 05:05 PM

Nice!!

You can't see the deadrise from that pic. But that bow looks nice, 18 feet thats nice trailer it any where on the coast up to Maine then down RI. That would be COOL... :sled:

Nice boat Bill. I was eyeballing that one. Looked like a pretty good deal.
Best of luck with it.

JohnR 08-16-2005 07:37 AM

Congrats Bill...

Those Kencraft are a nice Carolina boat. Good luck with it...

Saltheart 08-16-2005 08:06 AM

Good Luck with her Bill.

TheSpecialist 08-18-2005 01:30 PM

Thanks guys can't wait to get her registered and in the water...

schoolie monster 08-22-2005 11:09 AM

Bill, that's awesome... not sure how you swung that with the new baby here.

Very cool, maybe I'll be seeing you on the water. I'd been thinking about throwing you an invite to go out, but I've been overwhelmed with company this summer and have been playing guide alot.

I can't even believe that this summer is almost over...

Where are you gonna be launching?

TheSpecialist 08-23-2005 03:19 PM

Greg I am going to launch all over the place, I know of a free launch on the SS. I guess it depends on where I want to fish.

I gotta be honest I am not sure how I swung it either.

schoolie monster 08-26-2005 03:06 PM

Wessagusset is good. $60 a year which isn't bad for as much as I use it. Probably ends up less than 2 bucks per launch.

But they just put new docks in, so its nice.

Sounds like you may fish some different areas though. I'm pretty much sticking to the harbor & islands for now. I'd like to branch off and try the cape and westport, but down the road.

Anyway, hope the baby is doing great and maybe I'll see ya out there this fall.

GBOUTDOORS 09-01-2005 08:21 AM

Nice boat for jumping around to other areas Bill but Greg is wrong stay away from the Westport area there are NO fish in that water :rollem: I know of some great winter fishing that would be just right for that boat also. :faga:

schoolie monster 09-02-2005 03:29 PM

I didn't mean westport... I mean port west... its one of my secret spots. Nobody can find Port West. Its actually west of westport.

TheSpecialist 09-03-2005 07:00 PM

I really need to get some time in it in my local waters and get comfortable with it first anyway. Then we can discuss those winter places..... :read:
