Update on little Emma True story
On 7/04/05 Emma parents were told by Mass General Hospital and her doctors that there was nothing more they could do medically. That the life support was disconnected but monitors still hooked up. They told Robert (Father) to gather the family that she would not survive the hour.
Robert refused to believe them and left only to return about 30 minutes later with his Bible. He started to pray and told” God Please do not take my baby” and he then started to read scripture from the bible. With in 2 minutes little Emma was breathing on her own. The monitors shallow but none the less on her own. The Doctors could not believe what was going on. With in 2 weeks she was scheduled for a operation to have the right lung removed. She made it thru the operation and the doctors removed 1/3 rd of the right lung. With in a day her full skin color was back telling she was getting plenty of oxygen. Emma has been making good recovery over the past few weeks. Enough so she will be going to the Spalding Rehab Center in Sagamore Ma. (where her grand mother works) in aprox 2 weeks. I would like to thank everyone who prayed and supported Emma during this difficult time.I truely believe with out friends like you she would not be here right now. Mike & Barb on another note A number guys from ths site have donated Plugs for a raffle to benifit Emma . I will start the raffle next week . Lots of great plugs |
That's great guys, I am glad to hear it. more prayers have been sent.

Mike ,I remember you telling me that story on the phone and it is a powerful one to be sure. For various reasons prayer may not be as "in" as it used to be.....but it works, and Emma is living proof! Lots of positive thoughts and prayers going out to Emma ,and good people like you ,Barb ,and your daughter helping out...it kinda takes the edge off all of the negative stuff going on in the world.

Great News!!!! :btu:

Great news for sure. im excited for Mikes daughter, felecia i think, she is so excited to meet emma. Its truly remakable the ability of kids to fight. Emma has went through so much, it isnt fair that a little kid has to go thru that, but she will be able to overcome anything in the future, she is a rue warrior with an army of supporters behind her.
