New "Ink Floyd" Lure

Here's a hot new concept lure from Hab and Tattoo. The Ink Floyd could have easily been called the Pink Floyd, but I think that name may have already been taken. Regardless, this is a fantastic lure to work during the dark side of the moon.

Anyone know where the inspiration for this lure came from?

Ill test out that ink floyd for ya ! a couple other colors just to be sure of its functionality ( black , yellow and parrot ) . I think would fit the testing bill . call me .......................anything but late for the tide .

Nice, Habs where can I get some short of raiding the shed!!!!!!!!!!!

In Olive over Gold they would probably make a nice replacement for a Mambo or a Bomber this spring.....

JohnR 01-29-2002 10:39 AM

One of these days, Ink Floyd will be learning to fly, provided Tattoo learns a better knot from Slip.

Otherwise you might as well set the controls for the heart of the sun... BTW - I hear Habs likes SHEEP and PIGS...

 THAT LOOKS GORGEOUSLY FAMILIAR!~!!~...:D:D:D

...One question, whats "your" theory on the postioning of the hook??...why not the other way around?...I know it'll dig, keeping the rear hook up, but why face the hook down?...Any particular reason?...

JHABS 01-29-2002 06:26 PM

bloocrab, thats how HABS does it and i'm sticking to it , but for you we can change it J. HABS

GBOUTDOORS 01-29-2002 09:06 PM

They all look great but all look like they could use a nice home???;) ;)

JohnR 01-29-2002 09:10 PM

GB - I have the same bag but I pull out one of the plug bins so I can stuff the rest of my needs in there. I can get about 8-9 plugs into the one rack and survive for the night ;) ... It's certainly a worthwile inexpensive alternative to a SurfCaster Bag...

GBOUTDOORS 01-29-2002 09:17 PM

Glad to see I made the right choice I think we can get one for the Cuttyhunk derby for a prize no charge. What do you think guys worth it for second place ??? John thanks for the hint on setting the bag up sounds good! How about a few plugs to put in it?????

Slipknot 01-29-2002 09:38 PM

I like all the plugs on this thread. Hab,good job on that pink Floyd.

Dave, nice Wavy Gravy plugs. I thought you didn't like the Grateful Dead ;)

GB, I have a few plugs to add to that bag:)

bassmaster 01-29-2002 10:17 PM

plugs look good, but ya know what. bass will eat a stick of wood painted black:D

JHABS 01-29-2002 11:01 PM

bm, did you throw up on your plug.:o

bloocrab 01-29-2002 11:51 PM

___ Dear Mr. Habs:

........Whoever said anything about change? I was simply asking what the reasoning was for facing the hook down...thats' all..Aren't you afraid of hang-ups?? ...Or is that how you keep them coming back to buy more...:D;):D

:smash: :smash: Come to think of it, a plug with a Trebble hook on the end....faces everywhich way eh?... :smash:
