Early Stripers

2 Seasons ago I hooked into some small schoolies around April 12-13th, at the East Beach side of the Breachway rocks, using a small white jig and berkley white power grubs.....!!!

Just talked to my Dad who lives in the Outer Banks, they are killing the large Bass as we speak.......

The earliest, non Providence, schoolies I've gotten have been mid March at the West Wall in Matunuck... That place is truly great when you have a strong SW wind churning the water along the wall!!! I love it and can't wait another couple months to go!!!

The earliest date was March 18th or 19th I think.... Last few years it's been starting later and slower though....
