oh ya, Mung sucks :(

i went the other night on the merrimac.
plenty of light to see the little rat blues chompin' up your eels one after the other.
wasted gas and 12 eels but still beats nuthin.

I'm stuck in Western M-ass this weekend. Might go carp fishing tomorrow. No mung in the river though. Just dead bodies, sewage, and stuff.

couldnt go out tonight, but if i could have i would have.. over cast sky oh my :D

Mung . Sounds like lousey sex. Got to work around it.

Hey, I caught sumthin'......it just had wings and radar :vamp:

Pic sux....cell phone.....but you can make out the wing. The bastage was hissing at me when I was trying to cut it free. :err: those things creep me out.

I got several on topwater lastnight.The overcast sky really makes a differance I
believe.Nothing was big but it definitely beats nothing at all.

On this moon, I noticed consistantly bigger fish are hangin in deeper water just out of normal casting range. slingin @ 15'+

perfect conditions friday night but my reel broke after the first cast and didnt have a spare. I learned my lesson! :wall:

Lowest tide I have seen this AM. Saw bricks I didn't know were there. Could wade where I have not been able to before. All bass busting topwater. Real picky. Boat fly guys got a few. Going back out after thunder clears out. Peanut bunker!!!!

friday nite was great :hee:

Not overcast all night. Typical -- I was in SOCO/PJ for a cookout till 6:00 PM and it was overcast & foggy. I went out fishing in SOCO at 11:00 PM and the moon was like the sun. When I got in my Jeep at 2:30 AM the clouds came in again and covered the moon.

And the Blooos were around too.

Its super overcast right now- If it sticks, tonight i will be out in full force.

i might even throw an eel or 2 :D

out the last three nights without one bite.... fish hitting the surface but no luck with poppers or swimmers.... tin a no-go also :hs:

I just got back from fishing this morning's high tide.Tons of birds working bait.I
managed to get a couple small ones.Very breezy and overcast.

Like Eben said if its overcast tonight will be another night to head out.

I went out on the full moon and it sucked. The tide dumped out within two hours. One of the lowest I ever seen.
