T-Top / Aluminum Cleaning

Hi folks - wondering if anyone knows of any magic potion for cleaning aluminum? I used Flitz yesterday and it did an OK job but there are some small "bumps" that didn't come off. Must be some sort of oxidation. I suspect that I already know the answer to this question (apply more elbow grease) but thought I'd see what you guys use to keep your t-Tops looking good

Thanks

Dave

Woody Wax and brass wool works great for me!!

Never dull works very well, but if the "bumps" are the start of pitting the only thing that will get them off, if anything is rubbing compound.

Thanks guys - I just ordered some "woody wax" - Never seen the stuff before but it looks pretty cool - seems to be just what the doctor ordered

Thanks

A guy with a 31' Contender I met at my Marina uses Zep Stainless Steel Cleaner which you can buy at Home Depot, he swears by the stuff and it's cheap about $4.00 a bottle.

Call Woodies wax direct. They have some pre treated spounches for this. The Brass wool may still be needed. I have some samples if you are in the Cohasset area email me at tom@mtcfish.com
