What's up for the weekend? A little fishing from boat and surf and working on the boat (that I can no longer afford to fuel as the fuel requirements have more than doubled)....

So what's up for the weekend?

I am back from a business trip to the beautiful South (pun intended). FISHING all weekend!!! With the Rockman :laugha:

What he said; Fishing.... hopefully I can get some time off work and stock the cookie jar during daylight hours.. Fall is coming......

I'm thinking that the only place I can afford to go to with the last of the $2.58 gas in my 3/4 empty tank is drive to the Newport Bridge. Since I don't have enough gas for the round trip , and it takes $50 for a fill up now , I'll just jump off the damned bridge.

Actually , since all resources are needed for the hurricane releif , it wouldn't be fair to tie up government resources searching for my body right now.

I guess I'll do some house work and have a barbecue instead. The bridge will be there next weekend!! :)

Leaving 8:30am for a week in Myrtle Beach

Hope to do a Gulf Stream Charter while I am there.

I so need to get away.

Sat packing kid for Sundays drop off at Boston University, Monday Tuna somewhere.

New moon! massive amounts of fishing this weekend!

Maybe a trip to Boston to hang out this weekend, hopefully some fishing at some point -- maybe local fresh stuff, crying over gas prices, trying to figure out how to raise some cashola for my sister's homeless New Orleans a$$, sleeping in, and hopefully no work on Saturday.

On a boat somewhere in Nantucket Sound for about 36 hours starting at midnight tonight.

500 mile RT to Inlaws $$$$$$$...........I could be a redneck drinkin beer and burnin trash on a bonfire :happy: ........Maybe snapper blues with the boys at HT on Monday....

Sunday its off to N. Truro for the week with the family. Bringing the boat, hoping to get some time for serious fishing although with the little ones its tough. Was in Truro this morning watching the school bass chasing the peanuts on to the bayside beach. Fun to watch. One small bass actually beached itself it went at the bait so hard. Schools of frenzied blues just past the dropoff, fun on light tackle. :D

Work Sat., hopefully hit the sand and fish Sat. night, off to RI Sunday AM and all day for mandatory family thing, Monday AM head to NH for sons game, basically burn a lot of $3+ per gallon gas :doh:

hey clammer, i'm game. been on the shelf since july 7th so i might be a little rusty. hess on 44 in raynham this a.m., still 2.99 a gallon.

With the price of gas and my upcoming trip to the hunk, I think I will fish for Browns at night close to my house here in VT, just to practice staying up, well I usually catch some big browns.
Why is it if I'm not fishing I'm in bed at 9 and when I am, I can stay up all night? :think:

Sunday night is race night so lotsa eating and drinking.

I'm going to drive around all weekend to all the gas stations I can find,
and watch them change their prices every hour!

I'll squeeze some fishing in at night.

Fishing mornings, working on the house & yard all day.

Also need to make ~20lbs pulled pork for a party next weekend.

Driving to Long Island to visit friends and there daughters 1st birthday on Sun. No fishing involved unfortunatley. My truck is dead right now so no boating Sat. Paul

Fishing in am.....I need it bad! Bringing my sons to the new house in the afternoon...they have not been inside yet so I am very excited about that! Gotta strip some wallpaper all afternoon......relax tomorrow night.....maybe get out and fish early am Sunday......more house painting Sunday afternoon.....Monday morning maybe fish with the boys early.....house work maybe afternoon. See....it can be done...work on house and fish! :bounce:

A lot of fish in plymouth/deluxberry bay this am for those who don't want to burn a ton of fuel. Just a thought.... Got a whole 11 gallons this morning for $40 bucks! :mad:
