Daughter's first bass
 

Yeah it's freshwater, but still her first bass. She wanted to do some fishing at her birthday party this weekend so we took a break from cake and ice cream and went out in the back yard. All the kids had fun catching sunnies and perch on worms then Taylor caught this bass on a shiner :claps: . My son in the background (couldn't fish cuz of that broken arm in the sling) did all the releasing for the younger kids :grins:

Great Cal... my oldest daughter is almost 8 and she's been my main fishing partner for the past 2 years. Not so much this year b/c we've had alot of company and I've been taking out alot of guests.

We did make it out saturday evening in Boston Harbor... tons of 3-5lb bluefish and a couple bass crashing peanuts and we had a ball fishing, watching the blitzes and enjoyed a nice sunset. She got a couple on topwater on her own cast so she was psyched.

Its pretty cool to see your kid enjoying something so important to us.
