Do they stay alive long with the hook thru both lips? Maybe they don't need to if the bass are thick?

thefishingfreak 09-09-2005 11:12 AM

if there big i only go thru the top jaw. those little ones i hook both lips they ain't gonna live to long anyway.there's a ton of them inner harbor arround all the pilons. super small sabikis with the flash ripped off works real whell. just a small gold hook. we got a few tinkers too but mostly herring.

1/64th shad darts doubled up

then use a smallosh treble with all three hooks in the mouth
