I liked the look of the stainless ones I made a few weeks back so I decided to try some smaller, more slender, ones because of all the smaller bait around. I think I am getting closer to the dimensions, sillouette, of a sandeel. esp. the shinny 5" one. Made these this week. 316 stainless. 3/8 dia. They are 3.5" and 5" long. They weigh .7 oz and 1.0 oz. without hooks. They cast very well even though they are not very heavy. I could add weight be I don't think they need it. Sorry about picture quality, it is fuzzy. Damn camera. Paul

I have a healthy respect for your work. I could not stand working with metal in school. :smokin: Nice work.

Yea Paul, I think you are really on to something. I haven't had a chance to throw the needle since that one day out with Moses but I could cast it a mile and it looks deadly on the retreve. The few times we had working fish that day it got hit almost immediately. You might just have the new Kast-Master there.
