the next reel i buy is going to be ether a abu 6600 chrome rocket or a calcutta 400 rb.which one do you like better and why? this reel will be in the surf.

if you go for the shimano get the TE. it's got more bearings than the standard calcutta's and the side plate comes off easier, allowing you to fine tune it for different lures and wind much quicker. they are butter smooth and very nicely made.
