I don't feel good about todays game, Matt Clement 3 wins and 4 loses since the All Star game, this guy sucks :yak5:

Clement is not Superman thats for sure....but if he can give us a solid performance and the offense can open it up early then we will finish off Chicago no problemo! :jump:

i hope you're wrong too! i don't have much confidence in him now. hopfully he'll surprise us!

Remember he carried us when we were have early season pitching problems....Schilling and Wells were down and he was a rock!

He has never been a great second half pitcher his whole career, Marlins, Cubs. Maybe he will get caught up in the playoff fever and write some new history. Key is keeping Posednik off the bases, no walks. They always seem to hit the Cubano good. Go SOx's. Hope Yankme's have jet lag. Paul

Let's hope Clement can keep it close. and give the Sox hitters a chance to do some damage.
The Sox have handled Contreas pretty well when he was with the Yankees,but he can be a lights out pitcher.
