Watch out for Wilma!

From the latest NHC discussion on hurricane Wilma:

"RECENT RUNS OF THE GFS AND
NOGAPS ARE SUGGESTING THE POSSIBILITY OF A THREAT TO NEW ENGLAND.
IN THIS SCENARIO...WILMA BECOMES CAPTURED BY A LARGE MID- TO
UPPER-LEVEL LOW FORECAST TO MOVE INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION IN
FOUR DAYS. THE ECMWF AND IN PARTICULAR THE UKMET...BOTH OLDER
RUNS...DO NOT YET INDICATE THIS. THE FIVE-DAY OFFICIAL FORECAST
POINT HAS BEEN ADJUSTED TO THE LEFT AND FASTER THAN THE PREVIOUS
ADVISORY...BUT IS STILL MUCH FARTHER OFFSHORE OF NEW ENGLAND THAN
THE GFDL...GFS...AND NOGAPS GUIDANCE."

Better keep an eye on this one guys.

Wow, most pwerfull hurricane ever !!!

Powerfull in the sense of documented low pressure AND how fat it went from tropical - yesterday morning - to Cat5 - this morning. Unbelieveable...

the most powerful ever

will be when a hurricane goes to category 6....
Hurricane Linda's winds were blowing at an estimated 185 to 190 mph,
making it the strongest hurricane ever observed in the eastern Pacific.

the weather has always been .....giving us the MOST extreme

as in this september ...was the hottest since 1820 i think.

the rain we just got in the last two weeks ...the most ever

in recorded History... i hope to never see a cat # 6 but

i think its definately possible within our or your children's

lifetime.... and if that became the normal... cities would become

subterranian with light piped in via fiber optics.
