Easy, easy, easy spot to figure out!

Here's an easy spot to figure out.

Where would/do you fish here?

I am not a RI fisherman, but it does'nt appear to C-town. Although I only fished the place one night with the waves crashing about 6' over my head. Would this be near a certain sponsers place? Probably not, I will guess Quonny.

Isn't there supposed to be someone over on the other side with a lantern???

schoolie monster 02-28-2002 01:31 PM

Definitely Quonny.

The only time I was ever there during light hours, I was sleeping in the car while the guy I was with was breaking off the biggest fish of his career.

I know its a great spot, but that rotation thing isn't for everyone. Any more than 4 or 5 guys and I'm sittin' on the rocks.

My idea of surf fishing at night is a couple friends and a big section of water all to yourselves.

A bunch of people, and its like the opening day of trout season. You show up to your favorite stretch of stream, and their's 3 guys with zebcos, bobbers and cheese sittin' right on your favorite hole.

Yikes.

i see the dem and engineers are slacking, the work for the jetty isn't done yet. no paved sidewalk, parking lot, telephone pole w/ lights, railing on the inside of the wall, steps going to the water line, bess eaton on the right, etc. they better get moving. what will the guys ever do w/o all those necessities! it's awful dark out there at night.

hey fish_eye, did they clear the front from all those nasty rocks and fill it in w/ sand?

I've never been to this spot before - I would recognize THAT for certain!

Ya, you're making it too easy by zooming out so much. Definity Quonny.

I was too late jumping in on the Watch Hill one. I could tell by that one flat, tilted/sloping, light colored rock. I second guessed myself as I thought you'd be able to see tent rock in the back ground from that angle.
