Has anyone done a grip design like this? Looks simple enough, how is the cord applied and what type is used?
Thanks :pop:

Does look pretty simple. Almost like they layed the cork with a space between to show underneath or enough to lay a thin cord. Is that a cord or some paint.

I beleive that you would have to wrap the tape and the cord at the same time to keep the grip gap-free. Some contact adhesive sprayed on the blank first would keep the cord in place or possibly unwind the dry cord after you put the tape on and brush in some glue and re-wrap the cord. I've seen nylon cord like that at the fabric store where I buy netting to paint scales on plugs. That grip is really nice, the blue makes it look electric. Where did the picture come from?

That's the way I would do it. Wrap the cord along with the tape and glue it down after wards. Once the tape is on it's not going anywhere so you could easily glue it down.
