Anybody ever download the free version of GOOGLE EARTH. What an awesome free tool to hunt new spots. It shows deep water, shallow water, everywhere. Maybe I just hooked onto this, and maybe the rest of you know about it, either way if anyone doesn't know or does know but haven't look at this you should. Download and click your favorite fishing town and check out your favortie areas.

That program is pretty cool - another feature of it allows you to calculate distances (one of the options) - found it helpful a couple of times to estimate the length of a shoreline, or walking distance from access area.
