Spot burning in Montauk -- Who are these guys?

Wood is good for more than just plug building, especially this time of the year.

It doesn't start easy, but once you get that sand burning, there's almost no way to put it out :wiggle:

Very funny Mike, very funny! Almost looks like your all hiding out from someone or thing though.

Yes.

Depends on which part of M you're talking about.

Legal on Suffolk County beaches (Shagwong).

Illegal on the State Parks sections.

With fishing slow these three flamers contemplate sacrificing there gear to the fish gods.

Also legal on all Twn beaches, which is 99% of Montauk. Hither hills is also a state beach where no fires are permitted. And where some of the best fishing occurs, if you know where to go, and how to get there.
