Scud?
Is that lead (cone) in the arse end ?
Gibbs proto ? Need a better pic VB |
the paint does look early gibbs
that does look like lead sticking out |
very small swivel's
sst wire..gibbs didn't use sst till after 73. two tail gromets with lead melted over them on the butt/ and two nose gromets. hooks are newer long shank mustad style/ but are thin wire... |
also has a nice clear coat finish...sprayed on by the looks.
i have 2 that look like that. given to me by my g.f.'s boss. no hooks or wire though, they also look cleared. the through hole is gi-normous. he wanted me to paint them mackerel for him, think i'll do a spook and give them back. says they came from an early plug builder out of taunton mass. don't know the guy's name though.

Weird.. looks like a blue fish bomb,,but with no arse hook ?? don't make sense..
could be a bass bomb,,same shape[almost] one someone may have fudged with, but still look's to factory to me,,tail gromet fit's the wood on the end to a t.
Not a scud; least not that I;ve ever seen
My guess is it's a homemade but it looks just like a John Gibbs "Skipper". Definitly not a Ducharme Scud.

This is Stan Kussia bomb,,,kinda same shape,, lead in arse,, maybe offspring... how did you get the pictures big again ??
tagger, how do you know Stan k made that plug ?
vb |
