Is there anyplace where I can get a guide and go get me some bob whites?
Did some bird hunting down in GA last year and loved it. Ideas?

If you search quail hunting in new england you'll get some hits on vermont bird hunting. Mostly pen raised birds, but the only show in town as the wild birds on public land are mostly gone. Good luck.

Johnnie,
Do you have a dog? If so you can find birds in montauk, in the wilder areas of the state parks, the county park has birds but doesn't allow hunting them.

We hunt them at Hedgerow hunt club in Royalston Ma.Your dog or theirs. Member or none member all can hunt, and their much less expensive than Pheasant.
One thing do not hunt more than two people, the birds fly low. Also you can get a preserve short term license.
www.hedgerow.com Pat and Holley Perry. Hedgerow kennel and hunt club.
We've hunted there for many years and have lots of memories. :rotfl:
