After reading some threads I got a clue as to what woods to use, but I am curious about where you source the hardware.

For example are you buying eyehooks, or you bending steel rod and making all parts custom?

Cape Cod Tackle is also really great for hardware. They seem to have things in stock a little more often. Espcially the lead body weight. PB
