I don't know everything! exept that you must have saw these bohemouth bass in a dream....I do know that anyone on this board can ask, Steve Mckenna, Me, Clammer, Gene spring and a host of others out there today and the average size bass was 20inches.........There were loads of them along with 10lb blues...Its one thing to embelish but quite another to "almost" send someone on a long ride for dinks....I did see two fish that were maybe 13lbs ish.........I was there all day and knew many guys out there walking in and out..Nobody had any sizeable bass.... :confused: :confused:

So be sure to Ask those guys next time you see them!!

Spence those are Gill bibs , $250.00 at west marine, very warm and comfy. I always wear bibs when I know I will not be wading.

As to why I gilled the rat bass?? It was a joke for the pic...Fish was returned completly unharmed.

I know I said we were tabling the discussion on that a while back, but just in case you didn't see it and to further answer your question:

I think he was suprised and misjudged it. I will say this one more time, he was sincerely trying to put the best article together that he could, no malicious intent, and no different than what he has done in seminars for several clubs, of which members of here AND those clubs, praised. He didn't do anything vastly different from what countless others have done in major publishing systems, but he got hammered harder than anyone in this area has ever done. In my opinion, that's unfair.

Now, like previous discussion of that particular topic, for now it is done so we can avoid hyper-inflamatory talk that has little "discussion".

It only came to mind, because someone who bashed him so hard after the article is now fishing with him a month later. :confused: He was, "the most hated man in Narragensett" as someone said.
AND he taped a show in a sensitive area after peoples reaction to the article, I was curious to what he might say in regard to whats been hashed here, since they were involved in the discussion, I assume on both ends. Unless they never mentioned what they said about him.
