Emoticons-who makes them?
 

Reading clammers plea for his clam back got me to thinking about who makes all the emoticons like the one on the pull-down list that we can add to our posts and like clammers clam?

So Lar, what your saying is that they are all designed by everyone here...

There's sites that you can go to and download some that people made..i guess you can make them in this certain kind of program, if not something like Adobe Photoshop, or Pantshop Pro, but you'd have to be close of drawing practically everything by hand, on the computer.

First of all thanks Katie. I have Adobe 5.5 and a non commercial version. It probably is capable of making them and adding motion. I don't have the book however,

Solomon....I am looking to learn how to make them. Thank you for your reply. I just find them very entertaining when I have time to be here and actually remember to add them for effect to any post I put up.

The House?.... :hs: Lotta work when you try to save a buck. Sanding the 1st floor this upcoming weekend...then it's painting and lighting fixtures then we move in. Sounds like a couple weeks huh?...In reality, it will probably still be sometime in LATE January. :splat:

Easiest software I've used to animate is Fireworks, one of the better is Photoshop (and plug-ins), Best free software would probably be GIMP - look it up :hihi:

I didn't even know the one you toyed with was animated, why does his automatically move, but I have to click on yours to see it move...is that a setting?

Just don't do an Image search.......it isn't pretty :eek:

His was smaller than the thumbnail settings for the board so it does not need to open a new window. Images lager than 150x150 are automatically resized by the board software to post the thumbnail on the page and link it to the full size...

That's why ReelEct was saying it resembles him - the consumate plug loser and rod snapper :hihi:

Love you too Bloo... Seriously, GIMP has a learning curve but it rivals the big commercial apps in what it can do and the support it gets from the open source community - and did I mention it's free...

used to be th first one..... then came the second...
