What kind of tape did that one have?

it is a HI8 tape....

It's just that it took them so long to learn how to use it, they're intimidated with something newer....I was trying to keep it simple but I'm not having any luck finding the same one.

Chris, I'm not really looking to fix this because the ol' man did one heck of a job ....errrr...breaking it. Apparently the tape was stuck and he....ummm....did quite a job on it.

I seen this I have two video cameras one I do not use regular tape. I use the digital all the time when I get home Ill tell you what it is you can make an offer if you want it its like new condition just sits on fridge.

a 380 excellent condition all cables and wires and bag.

Gilly I have a CCD - TR 82 It works great, just needs some new batteries as these don't last too long, the ones they have may fit it.
