Billy Bulger sticks it to us again!

Can you believe this crap?

http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news...32/detail.html

After walking with a severance package of almost a million bucks, he's now getting a yearly pension increase of almost $30K giving him a yearly payment of over $200K!!!

I shouldn't be surprised, the system he helped create is working just fine for him....

As a police officer, we can't factor anything into our retirement except base salary. Contrary to what some would have you believe, details, overtime, court, uniform allowances, etc. are not taken into consideration at retirement time. I'm not complaining, I am happy to have my job, I enjoy it and I am grateful and fortunate to have it, but...

How is Bulger able to factor in his annuity and $50K housing allowances into his retirement. SOunds like a bunch of crap to me:af:

Unfortunately we will never fix the system so we have to join it!

I am one who is bustin a$$ and when I retire all I am going to get is a hand shake and a good bye!

Lurch-

It is a freakin' shame ain't it? My old man is a bus driver in Boston, works 80 hours a week for $15/hour and he has nothing to look forward to, except Social Security, what a joke that is. He's not an educated or skilled man, though he owned a resturant for years on Cape Cod and lost it in the 80's. Says he works harder driving a bus than when he owned his own business.

It's guys like you and my dad that get me so upset when I read about Bulger; a criminal just like his brother, no different.

I have an opportunity to work for the state education system and I am only considering the position because of the saftey net.....lower pay but no worries about getting cut by a company because my boss does not like me or the quartely corporate profits are 20 million and not 21million.
