Mapping a drive
 

John I have a HP PSC 2500 all in one with memory car readers. We are running XP with two log ins one for the wife, and one for me. On my log in we can access the memory readers, but on hers we cannot, and I cannot figure out how to map the drives onto her log in, any ideas?

Try this, its for a travel drive (from Memorex FAQ), but may work for your externmal memory as well....

Go to Control Panel
Click on Administrative Tools
Click on Computer Management
Click on Disk Management
In the listing you will see the TravelDrive™ as the correct size. Right Click it.
Click on Change Drive Letter and Paths
Click Change
Click on the down arrow and Select an available drive letter (we suggest “T” for TravelDrive™)
Press OK twice.
Close Computer Management and Control Panel.
