Time Flies.....John Lennon Shot 24 Years Ago Today!
 

Like it was yesterday I remember the night.....was watching Monday Night Football when the news broke in the middle of the telecast......John Lennon had been shot and killed outside of his apartment building, the Dakota......................what a shame and an absolute waste.:doh:

I still have the newspapers from that. Very sad, all the guy ever wanted was for everyone to get along.

I can remember exactly what I was doing I was 20 and I was in my room with my girlfriend, (wife now) and 2 friends with a huge pile of cocaine and a big bag of pot and it came on WBCN :smokin: very sad night He was born on the same day as me also. I am glad my kids are not like I was.

Missed this 1st time around....it was actually 25 years ago

I remember the day I heard the news. I was 24 years old and fishing on the Northern Edge of George's Bank on F/V Luzitano.

Twenty five years ago this week, Jen and I moved into this house, I was laid off, and that doofus killed John Lennon. Tough week.
