WEEI - Mike Adams has hijacked the station. He's pissed he has gotten strung along waiting to see if he got the evening job (which he should) and he's been strung along (which JW shouldn't have done) and he's locked everyone out of the studio booth waiting to find out if he'll get the job (which he probably won't get because of this stunt....)

I was hoping he wouldn't blow a gasket and blow his chances :( but looks like he may have from what you said. I want him to get the job, he's awesome.

I've been listening since then too but on 103.7 but since that went to Celtics I'm having a hard time pulling in 850 am :eyes:

This is the best EEi show in a long time! Mike Adams out of his mind. I am starting to think he is having an official "puff puff day". He does not belong selling cars in Framingham. He is outta his mind and I love it!~

If it wasn't a set-up, doncha think the station has a way of pulling a runaway on-air personality's plug, even if he barricades himself in the stuido? ;)

I've been listening to EEI ever since they became all sports. I was busy and unable to catch Mikey's stunt yesterday, however.
But it had to BE a stunt. They were already setting it up on the Big Show. Last week and this week, they've been poking fun at how Mikey has been kissin' a** to try to get the job; making jokes about him washing Jason's car etc.
Yesterday, Big O, Evil Tony, Stugatz et al were saying that Mikey should just do something radical to get Jason's attention and/or ask him straight up "Do I have the job or not?"
I'll take Mikey's antics, jokes, impressions and irreverance over Teddy any day. I don't really want to hear about Podunk State's fine Division III basketball program in the middle of the NFL playoff season.

I'm suspecting it was staged too - but it was hilarious....

He got the job.....as per Deniss and Calahan this morning.....
