Setting up folders

Ive been trying to save helpful ideas from this and other sites in a folder. I've noticed that the text portion is fine but alot of the time photos don't show up. Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong.

when you go to save

a picture into your folder what file format is it being saved under?
one trick is to save it.....and then save it again to see where it went.

being someone that has a thousand or more different photo's and different types saved in countless folders i have some experience in these matters.

generally windows by default saves your pictures in your documents
folder in the "my pictures" file....

then the other question is...what picture viewing program are you presently using? because if the file type is not selected in that
program's preferences or options section then it won't be able to
see them at all... so you need to check that as well.

a third option: is to right click an empty spot on your desktop
select new... new folder...and NAME it "downloads"
that way you have a place where downloads go automatically.

ps. afterwards you can right click a picture in your downloads folder and "move it" to your folder of choice.

Try doing a Save as and then select Web Page complete. this should grab all the pics and put them in a folder for you so that when you click on the HTM file it will come up as complete

good suggestion Dad

when people ask questions they generally don't mention what operating system their using...and i personally don't believe in windows XP....
its not to my liking.....

so i have to speak in generic terms.... hint: you can get some free aps at twodogs.com to view and or organize images.
