Get the newly released CD with all of the live cuts from Eat a Peach included. Goes right from Whipping Post into Mountain Jam. It also has some other live cuts that don't appear on either the original Live at the Fillmore or Eat a Peach. :humpty: |
"The Delicate Sound of Thunder" Pink Floyd 1989
Bernzy |

Live Rust/ Rust Never Sleeps
|
Easy...Ted Nugent's Double Live Gonzo.
Or if you wanna go way back to 1969 Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes Survival of the Fittest Live."Prodigal son" will be one of the greatest jams your ears will ever have the priviledge of hearing culminating in a guitar solo by an insanely young Ted that would put Hendrix and most guitar players past and present to shame. But overall Double Live is the sh!t. 2nd would be Iron Maiden's Live After Death. |
Frampton comes alive goes with out saying
I also like "Phish: A live one" "Jimi Hendrix Live at woodstock" "Led Zeppelin the song remains the same" |
The Band - The Last Waltz
Blue Oyster Cult - Some Enchanted Evening The Tubes - What Do You Want From Live.....a baby's arm holding an apple The Who - Live at Leeds The J Geils Band - Blow Your Face Out and Full House.....Both rock Procul Harum - Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.....Conquistador is Phenomenal Lou Reed - Rock and Roll Animal |
Frampton......Do you feel like I do.....

Allmans' Filmore East great but a distant second- best Live album
Anyone who's heard it (rare!), will agree #1 is clearly: Jeff Beck Live w/ Jan Hammer Group! :smokin: No matter what your taste, & whether or not you're familiar w/ Beck... put it on and guaranteed it will blow you away! |
OH... almost forgot another (1a?) Live masterpiece, maybe even better than Beck:
Jimi Hendrix Live w/ his Band of Gypsies (the "4th/ only other "legit." Hendrix album) Bone- chilling & beautiful!:grins: |

I once heard a live version of him doing "The Train Kept a Rollin'" You have to 'hook me up' with that album, LeCounts! ;) |

So... have you (or anybody?) found & listened to Beck Live w/ Jan Hammer yet? I'm waiting for my kudos/ thank- yous! :boots: Anyone needs a copy... send me a blank cassette! |

so many good live albums, like to throw one or two more into the mix. Lynard Skynards " one more from the road", also Stevie Ray Vaughn had a good live one..can't remember the name though
