Kayman cod charter?
 

Got a call from a customer to go out with him on Kayman charters for cod on monday. Just wondering if anyone has been out with these guys and what to expect ? I have been on cod trips before and NEVER done well but this was on larger boats out of Plymouth with 40 or so guys. Hope this is better or I think this will be my last cod trip.

Where is he outa? I went with a buddy about 2 weeks ago and 1 lonely juvy. Me think yer gonna havta steam for sometime to hit'm. If he hits a nice hole close by make sure you get the #'s:devil2: then we can swirl our way to it.

Chris he is out of Gloucter . The boat is a down easter and fishes 6, I found their website and it looks like a good trip but we shall see Monday. Only good thing is even if the fishing is so so its a day off with a good customer and freinds. If I catch one cod it will be the first cod on any of these charters for me.

I have been out with Kevin for many years and have no complaints, some of my best trips have been with him!

On one trip the striper fishing was slow so he asked us if we wanted to go fishing for tuna...we did not get any tuna but ended up just out of P-town from Gloucester.

Unfortunately we were not able to get out with Kevin this year as my buddies were not able to pick a date to go.

Tell Kevin the boys from cable say hello (if Kevin is the captain)!

Just to let you know the trip was GREAT. We all caught some keeper cod and haddock. The fish were not big but fun and good eating too. The largest cod was about 10# and 7# for the haddock.Between the 6 of us we got 30 keeper haddock and 40 keeper cod. The Capt was very good and the boat just right for 6 to fish.
