line tie on squids
 

i am thinking of doing some squids and i am truobling over where to put the line tie. I've seen some with them off center like a darter and some right down the middle. What is the diference. Thanks

The only squids I've made were pencil poppers and they were just thru drilled down the middle and tail weighted.

Your question is hard to answer in that the shape of the body and where it is weighted need to work in combination with where the loop is to tie it on. All 3 gotta work together to get it to do what you want.
