Maping Software

Hey John, I remember seeing a link to a webpage in one the threads that had an applet with satelite photo's of the massachusetts coastline, but I can't seem to find it again. Do you, or anyone else on this site for that matter, happen to have it off hand?

2 great links for you to try, one is to MIT from this site: http://www.striped-bass.com/links.shtml - go to the Ortho Photos

and the second is maptech.com - they offer all kinds of things from free image viewing to as much software and toys as you want to pay for...

the state's website www.state.ma.us/mgis has digital orthophotos in black/white and color (coastal) for the whole state of mass...pics are between 2 to 10 years old so they are still pretty relevant...

the 1/2 meter resolution files in mrsid format let you zoom in pretty tight...
