Wow. That's something special. You should have saved those for the plug contest. If you've got something better than those hidden away.............well maybe it's best I don't think about that too much.

Nice Mike, real nice. :kewl: Not that you should ever swim those beauties, but how do you find the urethane holding up vs epoxy.

so far so good.. not that i been doing this for long.
it's pretty thin but it looks nice and i got it kicking arround all the time.
too thin for burying grommets and filling lip slots up.. it takes three or four dips. to do that. i just mix a little then pour it on while it drips into another cup. really gotta babysit it to watch for bubbles and runs but it's been working for me lately and i don't have to spray it..:skulz: :skulz:
system 3 over this stuff and you'd have a bullit proof finish. i think mr. pogie does it that way?

fish that jointed one i gave you and you tell me..just send it back if it needs a re-paint :kewl:

Ya Mike like i'm really gonna fish the freaked out gun metal plug ya gave me.

I've used the waterbased urthane and am very happy with the finish but it has a tendency to peel with alot of use.:( I thinkyou might have the answer with a finish coat of epoxy. :D I recoat the urethane every 4 hrs, how long do you think i should wait to apply the epoxy to the final coat.
