Needle fish nose loop

Vertical or horizontal? Why? I've noticed them both ways. I've always done mine vertical. Then I began thinking about how you tune other plugs and the nose loop is horizontal. So now I'm thinkng, maybe horizontal so that I can tune the action a bit.

90% of us build them verticle. ;)

i was told if you want the action to be best in a side to side motion, you do them horizontal like a metal lip.. (some like to walk the dog with needles) if you want them to be better at going up and down, go verticle.. persoanly i think thats a load of ballony and do them all verticle.

I had learned a while back that if the needle is a sinker guys would make the eye horizontal and bend the eye up or down to make it run higher or lower like a metal lip. I tried it and it works...go figure
