Worst Movie I have Seen In Years!
 

Rented "The Anchorman" with Will Farrell over the weekend....I am a Will Farrell fan....anyway....just the most horrible movie I have seen since I walked out of "Nuns On The Run" after 10 minutes!!!! Watched about 15 minutes of it.....shaking my head at the lame attempt at humor and had to shut it off it was so bad!!!!:doh:

Thought it was pretty funny. Favorite part was the news team royal rumble towards the end...

IMO The absolute stupidest movie EVER made.Actually I'm wrong Spielberg's "AI:Artificial Intelligence" was even dumber.

yeah i liked it, it was different. i like mnights stuff like signs, but i like weird chit.

oh man i loved anchorman. just something about its stupidity that made it that much funnier ;)

hostel sucked......so did "wolf creek" and dont even get me started on the village..........

Rented the "constant gardener" last weekend, I made it through about 35 minutes before I shut it off.

For the first 20 minutes or so of Anchorman, I couldn't believe how lame it was. Ferrell's previous efforts were stupid, which they were supposed to be, and that's one thing that made them funny (like most "guy comedies), but also didn't require the viewer to totally abandon believability.
It wasn't until the news teams' rumble that I realized that the film is Supposed to be so over the top. At first I thought it was Ferrell et al really reaching for jokes, punchlines. Once I realized that it's pure, unadulterated camp, the different perspective enabled me to "get" the jokes. It's sort of a poor man's, "Airplane", I suppose, albeit VERY poor

Worst movie I have see in th last 10 years had to be Master of Disguise......with Dana Carvey

Took the kids to see it, and of course they loved it. My son asked me if we could get it on DVD when it came out. I told him I couldn't, in good conscience, give one more cent to the people who made that movie......the absolute worst, :yak:

Will Ferrel sucks and has always sucked. His work on SNL was painfull to watc:smash: h.

You have never seen "Elf" I guess.....very, very funny movie...a Christmas classic!:hihi:

There are people that think Something About Mary was vile and awful - me, I almost peed me pants laughin'...

All about different tastes... Most of the worst movies I've ever seen had a common thread - they were being made fun of on MST3000.... How long has that been gone - 5-10 years?
