Beginner SW Flytying by Cape Cod Salties

The Cape Cod Salties will provide fly tying seminars Saturday afaternoons from 2-4. Our new location is Fishing the Cape, located at Harwich Commons. The seminars are designed for novice tiers and offer a chance to learn tying techniques to create flies that work to take fish. Anyone is welcome to tie a few flies, share techniques and stories and keep Winter at bay. Please bring your vice and tools if you have them; if not, they will be provided. Materials will be supplied.

Ben Emery will kick off the February 4th. session with his Sparkle Bunker pattern. On February 11, Bill Cottle will share some simple bucktail and maribou patterns which are proven fish-getters. On February 18, Al Brewster will tie whatever he wishes. Al, a world famous commercial tier has tied for royalty. His flies appear in numerous books. He's also a genuine nice guy anf fabulous story teller. Kent Meserve, who catches lots of Stripers on Brewster Flats, will tie some flies on jig heads on February 25th.
