Don't know if you're looking for regional stuff or just information in general. Contact someone from the Asbury Park Fishing Club in NJ.
They are the oldest striped bass club in the country and have / had many members who participated. I've seen pins and patches that were awarded. Try PM'ing NIB to get in touch with Larry Casparo. He has alot of their clubs records on file. |

Tony Stetzko has two lamps at his shop in Orleans that were awarded to Schaeffer Judges. Ex Boston Herald OD writer Henry More gave them to him I believe. Bill |
Flap, the boss has a few old trophys and plagues in the basement of the store, I think they are his brothers and grandfathers.. I'll ask him about him.
You should talk to his brother too, he is one hell of a fisherman, used to win, or place in the old P-town Rod and Reel Tuna tourny regulary too, in the 70's and early 80's. I'll give ya his contact info Saturday. And yeah on that stuff at Tones, I think his dad has some stuff too. |
