Windows media player problem...
 

I recently bought a new computer. Whenever I try to watch a video with Windows media player, my computer just sits there with the hourglass thing running and the video never loads. There was a shortcut icon on my computer when I got the computer, so I assume it is set up. Any thoughts or advice on what I am doing wrong?

Toby - 1st step - go to Micro$ofts site and download it again and reinstall.

Arghhh... It says I have to instal "active-x". When I do, the download freezes on me. :lossinit:

all set. For some reason it wasn't completely installed when I bought the computer.
