More rigging questions

Won`t say S___- _ O....so much lately.

But...anyone rigging them and similar plastique or rubber eels with different braids or even coated wire line? Why does it have to be dacron and 50# test? I`ve got some other braids. Is it adhesiveness is better for the dacron and glue?

I anticipate if the wire is not very supple I`ll lose that sexy slinkiness but at times that might be ok as to how I want to work it and how I want it to appear(ex.maybe a darting fish). so I could have the tail end waving away.

just thinking and wondering.

Braid will work, you just have to be sure it cinches down correctly. Pat Abate was rigging some with 80# (I think) power pro last time I saw him.
