Good Timing

With the year's first 'blizzard' scheduled to hit late Saturday night, I have to credit Slip and crew with great timing for this event! At least we get it in! Can you imagine if this had been planned for Sunday?!?!

That said, you guys and gals headed up from NJ, plan accordingly! With 36 hours to go before the storm hits, we're looking at 14" locally. First trip with the sled. See you all Saturday!:ss:

Sounds like they are still hedgeing their bets, could go North of us, or south.. gut on the radio said that it will start later than expected, and said the cape will prolly start as snow, change to rain.. I think they are just ...

Slip, got any shovel heads to put on them 6 foot ayc ;)

Certianly of late, the news people have made lots of noise over nothing. I'd much rather they talk about these stoems when they really know what's going to happen. All the hype and speculation just gets the Lemmings charging to the grocery stores for bread, milk and diapers, stocking up like they were going camping back country for teo weeks!

That being said, I'm still glad I broke down a bought a snowblower this fall (just in case...)

I always wonder what all the "storm panickers" do with all of the batteries, candles and stuff they bought for the last storms that never materialized?:tm:

Me 2. I just filled the gas tank and fired it up. Although I hope to not have to start it if the snow goes the other way.

You guys take it slow going home.

ProfessorM 02-10-2006 11:45 AM

Glad to hear you are still going to make it. Think of it as as adventure. The roads should be deserted by then anyway.
