100 million for IRAN ???
to promote democracy in IRAN...
what kind of a dream world are they living in? thats the biggest waste of good AMERICAN CITIZEN dollars that i've ever heard of..... are you trying to tell me..... that all of our individual states couldn't make better use out of 2 million dollars each<-- better than iran. i say : no friggan way... fighting terrorism with democracy is PURE lunacy....:splat: |
Who is trying to hold us up for that?
Its time folks stopped paying their taxes.....if it ain't staying here....it ain't going there!:bshake: |
why not just burn it? you'd get the same results.
Where's the link for this? I just did a quick search on Google News and couldn't find anything.
This sort of waste drives me nuts. |
I haven't heard of that but 100 million for pro democracy in Iran might have been better than the 2.5 mil for Iraq back in 01-02
Let's use the $100 mill to make a nuke....Then give that to Iran. And i don't meen as a gift....:devil2: Bombs away! :hidin:
Reactor Funds
What a frieking joke this would be. The head terrorist/president will just use it to finish boiling up enough plutonium to finish his first bomb.
I still don't see anything to substanciate this thread? Raven....did you read this somewhere?
See, ya try to buy 'em first and then if that don't work then you blast 'em! It's simple logic really.
Billions
Your Short a few dollars, these guys speak in Billions.
i'll remember to provide a link
next time.... talk about throwing money away.... the article says 75
million...on CNN but i heard it mentioned as 100 million on the news. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/02/...eut/index.html |
Yeah...great Government we have here!!!! They gotta start to live and let live instead of forcing democracy down everyones throat!!!!! Spend more time taking care of our own....idiots!!!!
This gov't is VERY out of touch with this country. So many kids here in the US share school books or are lucky just to see one because of how poor some school systems are. Yet we're paying for Iranians to study here?
Embarassing. And that can be said for a lot of the other things we spend so much money on while ignoring all the problems here on the homefront. When people talk about the need for revolution in this country, waste and ignorance like this is why. Also, lets think about "sanctions" in Iran. Who do they really hurt? The people ruling the country? Doubtful. It mostly hurts those who are already underprivileged in that country. And as usual, we're surprised they don't like us.... |
I think you have to read between the lines. Promoting democracy in Iran is not done the same way as in Poland for example. Think assassins:uhoh:
I'm hoping that the whole thing is political speak for covert operatons.
I have said it here before...you think a revolution can't happen here? Wait and watch!:splat:
they have
blueberry flavored loogies now.... :hihi:
we were talking about this in my intership day before yesterday... and in the end we were both saying... nuke'em before they do it to us, cause you know sure as h3ll they're planning to do it to us...
This is typical of the powers in charge right now, to throw money at useless causes while hurricane victims live in tents.
