Is Jamaica Pond stocked?

This is a stupid question from someone who practically grew up in Jamaica Plain but I moved shortly after my friends got me into fishing. Now they want to go fishing there in the spring. I can only imagine that it's stocked, right? IF it is, do you know when they stock it and with what?
THanks!

they stock it in spring, and then in fall i think they put in some more bigger rainbows and browns. they normally put an article in the paper the day they stock it.
rainbows, browns, brook, salmon.

ive been fishing there whenever i can find some open water, and ive been catching a few bows. last one i got was like 5 days ago.

There is a well known fisherman who was in the state magazine.I think his name is something like Leyva. He gets several awards per year for various species. He caught a monster trout from Jamaica Pond fairly recently. It is well stocked.

While he puts about 40,000 miles a year on his van driving to fishing spots, most in Massachusetts, some his best fishing has been right in Boston. In Jamaica Pond, he caught what was then a world record koi, a goldfish that had been dumped in the pond from a fishbowl some years earlier and grew to 20 pounds 8 ounces.

This is the guy,Leyva.I guess you don't know what you'll catch in Jamaica Pond.

lol im still alive. between work and fishing not much time to do much else. Trying to make enough money so I can take the summer off and work at the Fishing academy. Thanks for the nice words fellas. JP Pond has some nice fish and the trout do hold over well. The Salmon don't do well, but they do put them in there big. It gets stocked about 3 times in the spring with trout & once with salmon. then twice with trout in the fall and again with salmon. It usualy starts in March/April. You can wade the whole pond when the water is lower, but you can only use the boats that you rent there. No private water crafts. There is also big yellow perch and some decent largemouth bass in there and along the emerald neckelace. Night fishing is great, but can be a little dangerous. Any thing else just pm me, id be glad to help. It does still have some nice browns
