Testing out Surf Rods

Anyone know if there is a shop that will let you test out surf rods? I currently use a 10' rod. I'd like to size down to a nine IF i can get the same distance (smaller but better rod). I'd hate to lay out 200+ and be dissapointed. Any ideas?

I currently use a 10' Tsunami that has served me very well.

Go to legs. I for one will let you lay into any rod I have.

we have a good selection of rods you can test outback. big shipment of Lamiglas should be here within 1 week .

mikeCC makes a sweet rod too. He doesnt know it, but i have one he built :jump1:
