Did CONN ban fishing with live herring? and is it on the way here in MA and RI?
Any info would be great!

Posessions of herring in any form is illegal in CT (at least the rivers)... I don't think this is going to happen in RI or MA but one cannot be too sure.

Wow John, does that mean we can't fill up a live well and drive down to the Thames from Mass. and fish with them? even if we get them from another state to use for bait?

I don't think the game warden would buy your story about taking them from MA. waters and bringing them to the thames.

You might get a bunch of guys there to narc on you as well.

What's the penalty - maybe worth the risk;) .They should give you one day aweek to fish, how much could that hurt.
