Charlestown Breachway, R.I.

I'm heading up to Charlestown Breachway next sun. 4/14. Does anyone know if anything is happening yet? I see some guys are writing about the west wall. I usually fly fish but I do bring the spinning rod just in case. I know it's early but I don't care if I catch a thing ,I just got to get to the ocean. I will post a report when I return( unless the weather is horrible) Thanks.

I would keep goin down rt. 1 to the west wall. It will be more consistant this time of year. Also its way more flyrodder friendly as long as you can cast into the wind. I am gonna try the breachway this week and I'll let you know how I make out. As of sat. morning there has been no bass caught in the breachway.

West Wall would be the best bet as I heard they are already getting fish there. But I would say by the 14th there might be some bass beginning to appear in the breachways, so don't rule them out. You can give Ron @ Breachway Bait and Tackle a call, he will know if anything is there.
