I have not done it for about 6 or 7 years but we used to catch all you wanted in April right off the beach on Plum Island.

I use to go there all the time about 10 years ago, it was loaded!! But I went again 2 years ago and you be hard pressed to get 1 let alone a keeper??
Maybe I am just off them there now?? It has been awhile and I had no GPS back then.

when in a boat. you can usually pick up a nice ones few off a deer island. graves you can get alot more and bigger.

Tony I uncovered the boat this weekend and will be going out next week to try a spot off -------- island. A customer of mine has numbers to a spot he got some nice fish at last March and asked if I wanted to tag along in my boat next week. This is a spot I know you could reach on a good day.

fish and chips

They are in shore now. Go out and get them.

Tony if you launch off either Scituite or Green Harbor you don't have to go out very far. A little later a very famous striper spot holds some real good cod and haddock:rollem:
